نا علي بن عبد الله بن مبشر ، نا احمد بن سنان القطان ، نا ابو قطن عمرو بن الهيثم ، نا يونس بن ابي إسحاق، قال: قال ابو بردة : قال ابو موسى : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" تستامر اليتيمة في نفسها، فإن سكتت فقد اذنت، فإن انكرت لم تكره" ، قال ابو قطن: قلت ليونس: سمعته منه او من ابي بردة؟، قال: نعم.
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The consent of an orphan girl regarding herself should be sought; if she remains silent, then she has given permission, but if she refuses, then she should not be forced." The narrator named Abu Qatan states: I asked Yunus, "Did you hear this narration from him? (The narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words) Did you hear it from Abu Burdah?" He replied, "Yes."
