Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the wife of Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Rabi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said:“O Messenger of Allah! Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred with you.”(After this, the narrator mentioned the entire hadith, in which these words are found): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called the uncle of those two girls and said:“Give two-thirds to these two girls, give one-eighth to the wife, and whatever remains will be for you.”
