Chapter on what remains after the obligatory shares goes to the agnates

حدثنا إسماعيل بن محمد الصفار، نا عباس بن محمد، نا يحيى بن ابي بكير، نا ابو هانئ عمر بن بشير، قال: سئل عامر،" عن مولود ليس بذكر ولا انثى، ليس له ما للذكر وليس له ما للانثى يخرج من سرته كهيئة البول والغائط، فسئل عامر عن ميراثه، فقال عامر: نصف حظ الذكر، ونصف حظ الانثى" .
Abu Hani Umar bin Bashir narrates: Sayyiduna Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about such a child who is neither male nor female, who has neither any sign of a man nor any sign of a woman, but urine or stool comes out from the place of the navel. Sayyiduna Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the inheritance of such a child, so he said: "He will receive half of the share of a man and half of the share of a woman."
