Chapter on mentioning the iqamah and differences in narrations about it

حدثنا احمد بن عبد الله بن محمد النحاس ، ثنا عمر بن شبة ، ثنا معمر بن محمد بن عبيد الله بن ابي رافع ، حدثني به ابي محمد ، عن ابيه عبيد الله ، عن ابي رافع ، قال:" رايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ورايت بلالا يؤذن بين يدي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مثنى مثنى ويقيم فرادى" .
Sayyiduna Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and I heard Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) giving the adhan in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He would say the words (of the adhan) twice each, while he would say the words of the iqamah once each.
