باب فى بدا الوحي وكيف كان يأتيه ورؤيته ﷺ لجبريل عليه السلام
Chapter: On the beginning of revelation, how it came to him, and his ﷺ vision of Jibril, peace be upon him
Hadith Number: 10499
عن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه قال كان إذا نزل على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم الوحي يسمع عند وجهه دوي كدوي النحل
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, that when revelation would descend upon the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, a sound like the buzzing of bees could be heard near his blessed face.
