Chapter 2: The Virtue of the Adhan, the Mu’adhdhin, and the Imam
Hadith Number: 1253
وعنه ايضا عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((الإمام ضامن والمؤذن مؤتمن، اللهم ارشد الائمة واغفر للمؤذنين))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The Imam is a guarantor and the Mu’adhdhin is trustworthy. O Allah, guide the Imams and forgive the Mu’adhdhins.
