وصية النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم أصحابه بإجتناب الفتن عند وقوعها وإرشادهم إلى ما فيه الخير لهم
The Prophet's (peace be upon him) advice to his companions to avoid tribulations when they occur and his guidance to what is good for them
Hadith Number: 12807
وعن بسر بن سعيد ان سعد بن ابي وقاص رضي الله عنه قال عند فتنة عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه: اشهد ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ”إنها ستكون فتنة، القاعد فيها خير من القائم، والقائم خير من الماشي، والماشي خير من الساعي“، قال: افرايت إن دخل علي بيتي فبسط يده إلي ليقتلني؟ قال: ”كن كابن آدم“
Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, regarding the turmoil that arose about Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him): I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon there will be a turmoil; in it, the one who sits will be better than the one who stands, the one who stands will be better than the one who walks, and the one who walks will be better than the one who runs to take part in it. A man asked: If someone forcibly enters my house and raises his hand to kill me, what should I do? He replied: Adopt the conduct of the son of Adam (peace be upon him) (who himself was killed but did not raise his hand against the other).
