Chapter on the Postures of Prostration and How to Go Down to It
Hadith Number: 1722
عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((إذا سجد احدكم فليعتدل ولا يفترش ذراعيه افتراش الكلب))
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you performs prostration, he should be moderate and should not spread his arms like a dog.
