Hadith Number: 1807
عن بريدة الخزاعي رضي الله عنه قال: قلنا: يا رسول الله! قد علمنا كيف نسلم عليك، فكيف نصلي عليك؟ قال: ((قولوا: اللهم اجعل صلواتك ورحمتك وبركاتك على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما جعلتها على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد))
Sayyiduna Buraidah Khuzai (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We said: O Messenger of Allah! Indeed, we have come to know how to send peace upon you, now how should we send blessings upon you? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You should say like this: "O Allah! Send Your prayers, mercy, and blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent them upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious."
تخریج الحدیث: «اسناده ضعيف جدّا، ابوداود نفيع بن الحارث الاعمي متروك الحديث، وكذبه ابن معين۔ أخرجه أحمد بن منيع في مسنده كما في أِتحاف الخيرة: 8446، والخطيب البغدادي في تاريخ بغداد: 8/ 142، (انظر مسند أحمد ترقيم الرسالة: 22988 ترقیم بيت الأفكار الدولية: 23376»
حكم: اسناده ضعيف جدّا
