Chapter on urging the straightening and closing of the rows and clarifying the best and worst of them
Hadith Number: 2649
عن البراء بن عازب رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((اقيموا صفوفكم لا يتخللكم كاولاد الحذف))، قيل: يا رسول الله! وما اولاد الحذف؟ قال: ((سود جرد تكون بارض اليمن))
Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Straighten and align your rows, and do not let the devil slip in among you like the offspring of Hadhaf. Someone asked: O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by the offspring of Hadhaf? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: These are black sheep, they have no hair, and they are found in the region of Yemen.
