Chapter on what is reported regarding having good thoughts of Allah and a good ending
Hadith Number: 2984
عن عمرو بن الحمق الخزاعي رضي الله عنه انه سمع النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم يقول: ((إذا اراد الله بعبد خيرا استعمله))، قيل: وما استعمله؟ قال: ((يفتح له بين يدي موته حتى يرضى عنه من حوله))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Humaq Khuzai (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Allah Almighty intends good for a servant, He uses him. Someone asked: What is meant by "He uses him"? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Good deeds are opened up for him before his death, until those around him become pleased with him.
