باب ما جاء فى حسن الظن بالله عز وجل وحسن الخاتمة
Chapter on what is reported regarding having good thoughts of Allah and a good ending
Hadith Number: 2987
عن حذيفة بن اليمان رضي الله عنه قال: اسندت النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم إلى صدري، فقال: ((من قال لا إله إلا الله ابتغاء وجه الله، ختم له بها دخل الجنة، ومن صام يوما ابتغاء وجه الله ختم له به دخل الجنة، ومن تصدق بصدقة ابتغاء وجه الله ختم له بها دخل الجنة))
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I embraced the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to my chest and supported him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever says LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH seeking the pleasure of Allah’s Countenance, and dies upon that, will enter Paradise. Whoever fasts one day seeking the pleasure of Allah’s Countenance, and dies upon that, will also enter Paradise. And whoever gives charity seeking the pleasure of Allah’s Countenance, and dies upon that, will also enter Paradise.
