باب ما جاء فى أن الميت يعذب ببكاء أهله عليه
Chapter on what is reported that the deceased is punished by his family's weeping over him
Hadith Number: 3069
عن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((الميت يعذب في قبره بالنياحة عليه))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Because of wailing over the deceased, he is punished in the grave.
