Chapter: Encouragement for It and Its Virtue
Hadith Number: 3584
عن عبد الله (بن مسعود) رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((ليتق احدكم وجهه من النار ولو بشق تمرة))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Each of you should protect his face from the Fire, even if it is by giving half a date in charity.
