Hadith Number: 4761
عن خيثمة بن عبد الرحمن عن ابيه قال كان اسم ابي في الجاهلية عزيزا فسماه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم عبد الرحمن
Haisamah bin Abdur Rahman narrates from his father: In the era of ignorance, my father's name was Aziz, then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, changed his name to Abdur Rahman.
