Chapter on the Spoils Belonging to the Killer and That It Is Not Subject to the Fifth
Hadith Number: 5054
عن عوف بن مالك الاشجعي وخالد بن الوليد رضي الله عنهما ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم لم يخمس السلب
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik Ashja'i and Sayyiduna Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not take a fifth from the spoils (salb).
