It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him), then he mentioned the incident of ‘Abdur Rahman Fazari raiding the livestock of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and their protection. Sayyiduna Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When we reached the morning, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Today Abu Qatadah proved to be the best horseman and Salamah the best foot soldier.”Thus, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me the share of both the foot soldier and the horseman.
