باب وعيد العبد إذا نقص من صديه أو تولى غير مواليه أو سرق أو أبق
Chapter on the Threat to the Slave Who Defrauds His Master, Turns to Other Than His Masters, Steals, or Runs Away
Hadith Number: 5259
عنه من طريق ثان عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال إذا ابق العبد وقال مرة إذا سرق فبعه ولو بنش والنش نصف اوقية
(Second chain) The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When a slave runs away—and in another narration: when he steals—then sell him, even if you have to sell him for half an uqiyah. By "al-nash" is meant half an uqiyah.
