باب من نذر ندرا مباحا أو غير مشروع أو لا يطيقه وكفاره ذلك
Chapter on Whoever Vows Something Permissible, Not Legislated, or Beyond His Ability, and Its Expiation
Hadith Number: 5369
عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال جاءت امراة إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فقالت يا رسول الله إن اختي نذرت ان تحج ماشية قال إن الله لا يصنع بشقاء اختك شيئا لتخرج راكبة ولتكفر عن يمينها
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, that a woman came to the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Messenger of Allah! My sister has vowed to perform Hajj on foot. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah Almighty does not wish your sister to put herself in hardship; she should go riding and offer expiation for her oath.
