باب وجوب تبين العيب وعدم الغش ووعيد من غش
Chapter: The obligation to disclose defects, prohibition of cheating, and the warning to those who cheat
Hadith Number: 5927
عن عقبة بن عامر رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم المسلم اخو المسلم لا يحل لامرئ مسلم ان يغيب ما بسلعته عن اخيه إن علم بها تركها
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. It is not lawful for any Muslim to conceal such a defect in his goods from his brother that if the buyer were to find out about it, he would leave that thing.
