Issues of Usurpation
باب من اعتصب أو سرق شيئا من الأرض ولو قيد شير أو ذراع
Chapter: One who seizes or steals something from land, even a span or a cubit
Hadith Number: 6198
عن يعلى بن مرة الثقفي رضي الله عنه قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول من اخذ ارضا بغير حقها كلف ان يحمل ترابها إلى المحشر
Narrated by Sayyidna Ali bin Murrah Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever unjustly seizes someone else's land, he will be made to carry the soil of that place on the Day of Resurrection and bring it to the gathering.
