Chapter on Preventing Women from Wearing Gold Jewelry and Permitting Silver for Them
Hadith Number: 7992
وعنه ايضا عن ام سلمة رضي الله عنها قالت لبست قلادة فيها شعرات من ذهب قالت فرآها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فاعرض عني فقال ما يؤمنك ان يقلدك الله مكانها يوم القيامة شعرات من نار قالت فنزعتها
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: I wore a necklace, in which there were strands of gold. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned away after seeing it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What has made you feel secure from the fact that Allah Almighty may make you wear strands of fire in its place? She says: So I took it off.

حكم: اسناده فيه ضعف وانقطاع
