Chapter on encouragement to give advice to Muslims, to help them, relieve their distress, fulfill their needs, and cover their faults
Hadith Number: 9110
عن ابي مسعود رضي الله عنه رفعه وقال شاذان مرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال المستشار مؤتمن وذكر شاذان ايضا حديث الدال على الخير كفاعله
Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The person from whom consultation is sought is a trustee. Shadhan, the narrator, also mentioned this hadith: The one who guides towards goodness is like the one who does it.
