باب الترغيب فى الحياء وإنه لا يأتى إلا بخير
Chapter on encouragement to modesty and that it only brings good
Hadith Number: 9229
عن ابي امامة الباهلي رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال ((الحياء والعي شعبتان من الإيمان والبذاء والبيان شعبتان من النفاق))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Modesty and inability to speak are two branches of faith, and foul speech and ability to speak are two branches of hypocrisy.
