Chapter on encouragement to renounce the world, its adornments, and its pleasures
Hadith Number: 9277
عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما قال اتاني النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وابو بكر وعمر فاطعمتهم رطبا واسقيتهم ماء فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ((هذا من النعيم الذي تسالون عنه))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with them both, who says: The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, came to me. I served them fresh dates and gave them water to drink. The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: These are among the blessings about which you will be questioned.
