Issues of Poverty and Wealth
باب ما جاء فى فضل الفقراء المساكين والترغيب فى حبهم ومجالستهم
Chapter on what has been narrated regarding the virtue of the poor and needy, and encouragement to love and sit with them
Hadith Number: 9327
عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ((اطلعت في الجنة فرايت اكثر اهلها الفقراء واطلعت في النار فرايت اكثر اهلها النساء))
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I looked into Paradise and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were the poor, then I looked into the Fire from above and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women.
