Hadith Number: 9570
وعنه ايضا عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال ما نقصت صدقة من مال وما زاد الله رجلا بعفو إلا عزا وما تواضع احد لله إلا رفعه الله عز وجل
Syedna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Charity does not decrease wealth, Allah Almighty increases the honor of a servant because of forgiving people, and whoever adopts humility for the sake of Allah Almighty, Allah elevates him.
