Chapter on inheritance of a freed slave
Hadith Number: 227
نا إسماعيل بن عياش، عن ابن جريج، عن عطاء، انه كان يقول: " ايما عبد اعتق سائبة فإنما امره بيده يوالي من شاء" .
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A slave who is set free as a Saibah (freed without compensation) has his affair in his own hand; he may choose the guardianship of whomever he wishes."
