Book of Marriage
باب من يتزوج امرأة مجذومة أو مجنونة
Chapter: Whoever marries a woman who is leprous or insane
Hadith Number: 827
نا هشيم، قال: انا يونس، عن الحسن، انه كان يقول: " إن علم بذلك الولي فالصداق عليه كما غره منها، وإن لم يعلم فهي امراته، إن شاء طلق، وإن شاء امسك" .
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If the guardian had knowledge, then the dowry is upon the one who deceived; and if he did not have knowledge, then the marriage remains, whether he keeps (her) or leaves (her)."
