Book of Divorce
وقال طاوس: «أقراؤها ما كانت»
And Tawus said: "Her waiting periods are as they were."
Hadith Number: 1306
نا هشيم، قال: انا يحيى بن سعيد، عن سعيد بن المسيب،" انه قال في رجل يطلق امراته تطليقة او ثنتين ثم ترتفع حيضتها فلم يدر ما رفعتها , فإنها تربص من عند الريبة تسعة اشهر فإن استبان بها حمل فذاك، وإن لم يستبن تربصت ثلاثة اشهر، ثم تزوجت من شاءت" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: If a woman's menstruation stops and the reason is not known, then due to doubt she should wait for nine months; if pregnancy becomes apparent, then fine, otherwise she should wait for another three months, then she can marry.
