باب من قال: لا تتمنوا لقاء العدو، والدعاء عند لقيهم
Chapter on those who said: Do not wish to meet the enemy, and supplication when meeting them
Hadith Number: 2526
نا خالد، قال: نا حصين، عن عون بن عبد الله، قال: " من اشرف على بلدة، فقال: اللهم ارزقني مودة خيارهم، وجنبني شرارهم، رجوت ان يعطى ذلك" .
Hazrat Awn bin Abdullah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Whoever reaches a town and supplicates, "O Allah! Grant me the love of their good people and protect me from their evil people," then it is hoped that his supplication will be accepted.
