فصل في الأوقات المنهي عنها - ذكر ما يجب على المرء إذا انفجر الصبح أن لا يركع إلا ركعتي الفجر
Section on Prohibited Times - Instruction that after dawn, only the two rak’ahs of Fajr should be prayed.
Hadith Number: 1587
اخبرنا احمد بن الحسن بن عبد الجبار الصوفي ، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن معين ، قال: حدثنا غندر ، عن شعبة ، عن زيد بن محمد ، قال: سمعت نافعا يحدث عن ابن عمر ، عن حفصة ، قالت:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا طلع الفجر لا يصلي إلا ركعتي الفجر" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates this statement from Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) after the true dawn would only perform the two Sunnah rak'ahs of Fajr. (That is, he would not perform any other voluntary prayer.)
