Hadith Number: 200
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the last moments of Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) approached, he said: "Remove the curtain of the tent, for I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'Whoever bears witness with sincerity of heart that there is no deity except Allah, that person will enter Paradise.'"
Imam Ibn Hibban (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): 'He will enter Paradise,' means that one Paradise is different from another, because there are various types of Paradise. So, whoever makes that declaration—which is the highest branch of faith—but does not reach the stage of action and then passes away, he will enter Paradise. Whoever, after the declaration, also performs deeds, whether few or many, he too will enter Paradise. But this Paradise will be higher than the previous one, because his deeds are more, so his ranks will be higher and his Paradise will be loftier. It is not the case that all Muslims will enter the same Paradise, even though there is disparity and difference among their deeds, because there are various types of Paradise. It is not the case that there is only one Paradise.
