Hadith Number: 2082
اخبرنا ابو خليفة في عقبه قال: حدثنا ابو الوليد ، قال: حدثنا زهير بن معاوية ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، قال: كنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في سفر، فمطرنا، فقال: " ليصل من شاء منكم في رحله" . اخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق بن خزيمة ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى الذهلي ، قال: حدثنا ابو نعيم ، قال: حدثنا زهير بن معاوية .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were traveling with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when it started to rain, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever among you wishes may offer the prayer at his place. This narration has also been transmitted by Imam Ibn Khuzaymah with his chain of narration.
