باب النفقة - ذكر كتبة الله جل وعلا الصدقة للمنفق على نفسه وأهله وغيرهم إذا كان ماله من حلال-
Chapter: Maintenance – God records charity for spending on oneself, family, and others if the wealth is lawful
Hadith Number: 4236
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد بن سلم ببيت المقدس، قال: حدثنا حرملة بن يحيى ، قال: حدثنا ابن وهب ، قال: اخبرني عمرو بن الحارث ، ان دراجا ، حدثه ان ابا الهيثم حدثه، عن ابي سعيد الخدري ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " ايما رجل كسب مالا من حلال، فاطعم نفسه او كساها فمن دونه من خلق الله، فإن له بها زكاة" .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Whoever earns lawful wealth and eats from it himself, or wears it, or spends it on anyone else among Allah's creation besides himself, then this thing will be a means of attaining purity for him."
