Chapter on Good Character – Report refuting the claim that only Abda ibn Sulayman narrated this hadith.
Hadith Number: 470
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني بالصغد، قال: حدثنا عيسى بن حماد ، قال: اخبرنا الليث بن سعد ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن موسى بن عقبة ، عن عبد الله الاودي ، عن ابن مسعود ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " الا اخبركم بمن تحرم عليه النار؟" قالوا: بلى يا رسول الله، قال:" على كل هين، لين، قريب، سهل" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "Shall I not tell you about the person upon whom Hell has been made forbidden?" The people said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Every easy-going, gentle, approachable, and lenient person."
