Allah’s mercy for those who convey authentic hadith to the Prophet’s nation.
Hadith Number: 67
Abdur Rahman bin Aban (from his father, who is the son of Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani, may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once, Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit, may Allah be pleased with him, came out from Marwan at midday, so I thought that Marwan must have called him at this time to ask him about something.
I came to Sayyiduna Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, and inquired from him about this. He said: That is so. He had asked us about some things which we had heard from the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
(The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said:)
“May Allah have mercy on the person who hears something from me and preserves it until he conveys it to another. For sometimes the one who hears a matter of fiqh (religious knowledge) conveys it to someone who has more understanding of religion than he does.”Sometimes the one who acquires knowledge of a religious matter is not himself a scholar.
There are three qualities regarding which the heart of a Muslim does not betray:
Making deeds sincere for Allah Almighty, having goodwill for the rulers, and staying with the (Muslim) community. For the supplication of these people reaches even those who are absent.
