Chapter on Recitation of the Quran – On the warning against completing the Quran in less than three days, as this is closer to reflection and understanding
Hadith Number: 758
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن المنهال الضرير ، قال: حدثنا يزيد بن زريع ، قال: حدثنا سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن ابي العلاء يزيد بن عبد الله ، عن عبد الله بن عمرو ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا يفقه من قرا القرآن في اقل من ثلاث" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites (i.e., the entire Qur'an) in less than three days has not understood it. (Or, that person does not possess understanding and comprehension)."
