The Book of Salat-Ut-Tahajjud (Night Prayer)
باب صلاة الضحى فى السفر:
(31) Chapter. To offer the Salat-ut-Duha (forenoon prayer) in journey.
Hadith Number: 1175
حدثنا مسدد , قال: حدثنا يحيى، عن شعبة، عن توبة، عن مورق , قال:" قلت لابن عمر رضي الله عنهما: اتصلي الضحى؟ , قال: لا، قلت: فعمر؟ , قال: لا، قلت: فابو بكر؟ , قال: لا، قلت: فالنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ , قال: لا إخاله".
Narrated Muwarriq: I asked Ibn `Umar "Do you offer the Duha prayer?" He replied in the negative. I further asked, "Did `Umar use to pray it?" He (Ibn `Umar) replied in the negative. I again asked, "Did Abu Bakr use to pray it?" He replied in the negative. I again asked, "Did the Prophet use to pray it?" Ibn `Umar replied, "I don't think he did."

Hadith Number: 77
حدثني محمد بن يوسف، قال: حدثنا ابو مسهر، قال: حدثني محمد بن حرب، حدثني الزبيدي، عن الزهري، عن محمود بن الربيع، قال:" عقلت من النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مجة مجها في وجهي، وانا ابن خمس سنين من دلو".
Narrated Mahmud bin Rabi`a: When I was a boy of five, I remember, the Prophet took water from a bucket (used for getting water out of a well) with his mouth and threw it on my face.
