The Book of Tribulations and Portents of the Last Hour
باب لا تقوم الساعة حتى يمر الرجل بقبر الرجل فيتمنى ان يكون مكان الميت من البلاء:
Chapter: The Hour Will Not Begin Until A Man Passes By Another Man's Grave And Wishes That He Was In The Place Of The Deceased, Because Of Calamity

حدثنا يحيى بن ايوب ، وقتيبة بن سعيد ، وعلي بن حجر ، قالوا: حدثنا إسماعيل يعنون ابن جعفر ، عن العلاء وهو ابن عبد الرحمن ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا تقوم الساعة حتى تطلع الشمس من مغربها، فإذا طلعت من مغربها، آمن الناس كلهم اجمعون، فيومئذ لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل، او كسبت في إيمانها خيرا ".
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: The (Last) Hour shall not came till the sun rises from the place of its setting And on the day when it rises from the place of its setting even if all the people together affirmed their faith, it would not be of any avail to one who did not believe previously and derived no good out of his belief.

وحدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد ، حدثنا يعقوب وهو ابن عبد الرحمن القاري ، عن سهيل ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا تقوم الساعة حتى يكثر المال ويفيض، حتى يخرج الرجل بزكاة ماله، فلا يجد احدا يقبلها منه، وحتى تعود ارض العرب مروجا وانهارا ".
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) as saying: The Last Hour will not come before wealth becomes abundant and overflowing, so much so that a man takes Zakat out of his property and cannot find anyone to accept it from him and till the land of Arabia becomes meadows and rivers.

وحدثنا ابو الطاهر ، حدثنا ابن وهب ، عن عمرو بن الحارث ، عن ابي يونس ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا تقوم الساعة حتى يكثر فيكم المال فيفيض، حتى يهم رب المال من يقبله منه صدقة، ويدعى إليه الرجل فيقول: لا ارب لي فيه ".
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: The Last Hour will not come till wealth is abundant and overflowing, so much so that the owner of the property will think as to who will accept Sadaqa from him, and a person would be called to accept Sadaqa and he would say: I do not need it.

حدثني حرملة بن يحيي ، اخبرنا ابن وهب ، اخبرني يونس ، عن ابن شهاب ، حدثني حميد بن عبد الرحمن بن عوف ، ان ابا هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " يتقارب الزمان ويقبض العلم، وتظهر الفتن، ويلقى الشح، ويكثر الهرج "، قالوا: وما الهرج؟ قال: القتل ".
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: (When) the time would draw close to the Last Hour, knowledge would be snatched away, turmoil would be rampant, miserliness would be put (in the hearts of the people) and therewould be much bloodshed. They said: What is al-harj? Thereupon he said: It is bloodshed.

حدثنا عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن الدارمي ، اخبرنا ابو اليمان ، اخبرنا شعيب ، عن الزهري ، حدثني حميد بن عبد الرحمن الزهري ، ان ابا هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: يتقارب الزمان ويقبض العلم، ثم ذكر مثله.
This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) with a slight variation of wording.

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) having said: The time would draw close to the Last Hour and knowledge would decrease. The rest of the hadith is the same.

وحدثنا محمد بن رافع ، حدثنا عبد الرزاق ، حدثنا معمر ، عن همام بن منبه ، قال: هذا ما حدثنا ابو هريرة ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فذكر احاديث منها، وقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا تقوم الساعة حتى تقتتل فئتان عظيمتان، وتكون بينهما مقتلة عظيمة ودعواهما واحدة ".
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) many ahadith and one of them was this: The last Hour will not come until the two parties (of Muslims) confront each other and there is a large-scale massacre amongst them and the claim of both of them is the same.

حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد ، حدثنا يعقوب يعني ابن عبد الرحمن ، عن سهيل ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا تقوم الساعة حتى يكثر الهرج "، قالوا: وما الهرج يا رسول الله؟، قال: " القتل القتل ".
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: The last Hour will not come unless there is much bloodshed. They said: What is harj? Thereupon he said: Bloodshed. Bloodshed.

حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد ، عن مالك بن انس فيما قرئ عليه، عن ابي الزناد ، عن الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا تقوم الساعة حتى يمر الرجل بقبر الرجل، فيقول: يا ليتني مكانه ".
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: The Last Hour would not come until a person would pass by a grave of another person and he would say: I wish it had been my abode.

حدثنا عبد الله بن عمر بن محمد بن ابان بن صالح ، ومحمد بن يزيد الرفاعي واللفظ لابن ابان قالا: حدثنا ابن فضيل ، عن ابي إسماعيل ، عن ابي حازم ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " والذي نفسي بيده لا تذهب الدنيا حتى يمر الرجل على القبر، فيتمرغ عليه، ويقول: يا ليتني كنت مكان صاحب هذا القبر، وليس به الدين إلا البلاء ".
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: The world would not come to an end until a day would come to the people on which the murderer would not know as to why he has killed and the slain would not know as to why he has been murdered. It would be said: Why would It happen? To which he replied: It would be because of general massacre and bloodshed. And the slaughterers and the slain would be in Fire, and in the narration of Ibn Aban, the name of Abu Isma'il has been mentioned.

حدثني زهير بن حرب ، وإسحاق بن منصور ، قال إسحاق اخبرنا، وقال زهير: حدثنا عبد الرحمن وهو ابن مهدي عن مالك ، عن ابي الزناد ، عن الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا تقوم الساعة، حتى يبعث دجالون كذابون قريب من ثلاثين كلهم يزعم انه رسول الله "،
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: The Last Hour would not come until there would arise about thirty impostors, liars, and each one of them would claim that he is a messenger of Allah.
