Ibn Abbas said When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم came to Makkah he was ill. So, he performed the circumambulation on his Camel. He touched the corner (Black Stone) with a crooked stick as often as he came to it. When he finished the circumambulation, he made his Camel kneel down and offered two rak’ahs of prayer.

Abu Hurairah said When the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم entered Makkah he circumambulated the House (the Kaabah) and offered two rak’ahs of prayer behind the station. That is, he did so on the day of the Conquest (of Makkah).

Ibn Abbas said The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم performed the circumambulation at the Farewell Pilgrimage on a Camel and touched the corner (Black Stone) with a crooked stick.

Narrated Safiyyah, daughter of Shaybah: When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم had some rest at Makkah in the year of its Conquest, he performed circumambulation on a camel and touched the corner (black Stone) with a crooked stick in his hand. She said: I was looking at him.

Jabir bin Abdullah said The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم performed the circumambulation of the House (the Kaabah) on his Camel at the Farewell Pilgrimage and ran between Al Safa’ and Al Marwah, so that the people could see him, remain well informed about him and ask him questions (about Hajj) for the people surrounded him.
