Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade keeping pictures in the house and also forbade making them 1. Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- The hadith of Jabir is Hasan Sahih,
2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ali, Abu Talhah, Aisha, Abu Hurairah, and Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with them).

‘Ubaydullah bin ‘Abdullah bin ‘Utbah says that he went to visit Abu Talhah Al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) at his house, and I found Sahl bin Hunaif (may Allah be pleased with him) with him. Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) called a man to bring out the sheet that was under him. Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him:“Why are you taking it out?”He said:“Because it has images on it, and you know what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said about this.”Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) said:“He also said: ‘Except for a cloth with patterns.’”Abu Talhah said:“He did say that, but this is better for me.”1. Imam Tirmidhi says: This hadith is Hasan Sahih.
