It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss while in the state of fasting. Urwah said: But this kissing (while fasting) is not a good thing.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss her while he was fasting.

Sayyiduna Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came in a state of happiness and kissed (my wife) while I was fasting. Then I went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Today I have committed a great sin; I was fasting and I kissed (my wife). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What do you think if you rinse your mouth with water while fasting?" I said: There is no harm in that. He said: "Then why should there be any harm in this?"
