باب في عُقُوبَةِ الْغَالِّ:
Chapter: Punishment of the One Who Steals from Spoils
Hadith Number: 2526
حدثنا سعيد بن منصور، عن عبد العزيز بن محمد، عن صالح بن محمد بن زائدة، عن سالم بن عبد الله، عن ابيه، عن جده، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "من وجدتموه غل، فاضربوه واحرقوا متاعه".
Salim bin Abdullah narrated from his father, who narrated from his grandfather, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you find someone who has stolen from the spoils of war, then beat him and burn his belongings."
