باب في الْغَالِّ إِذَا جَاءَ بِمَا غَلَّ بِهِ:
Chapter: If the Thief Returns What He Stole from the Spoils
Hadith Number: 2527
اخبرنا محمد بن حاتم المكتب، حدثنا القاسم بن مالك، حدثني كثير بن عبد الله بن عمرو بن عوف المزني، عن ابيه، عن جده، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "لا نهب، ولا إغلال، ولا إسلال، ومن يغلل يات بما غل يوم القيامة". قال ابو محمد: الإسلال: السرقة.
Kathir bin Abdullah bin Amr bin Awf Muzani narrated from his father, who narrated from his grandfather, Sayyiduna Amr bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Neither looting is permissible, nor betrayal, nor theft is permissible, and whoever steals will bring with him on the Day of Resurrection that which he stole."
Imam Abu Muhammad Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The meaning of "Islal" is theft.
