It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would return from his journey, he would supplicate:“ «آئِبُوْنَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللّٰهُ ...... حَامِدُوْنِ» That is, we are returning, if Allah wills, as those who repent, those who worship, those who praise their Lord.”
