بَقِيَّةُ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
The remainder of the hadith of Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 19102
حدثنا يحيى هو ابن سعيد ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن فراس ، عن مدرك بن عمارة ، عن ابن ابي اوفى ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا يشرب الخمر حين يشربها وهو مؤمن، ولا يزني حين يزني وهو مؤمن، ولا ينتهب نهبة ذات شرف او سرف وهو مؤمن" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a person drinks alcohol, he is not a believer at that time; when a person commits adultery, he is not a believer at that time; and when a person commits robbery at the house of a wealthy person, he is not a believer at that time.

Hadith Number: 19103
حدثنا يحيى ، عن شعبة ، حدثني الشيباني ، عن ابن ابي اوفى . وعبد الرحمن ، عن سفيان ، عن الشيباني ، قال: سمعت ابن ابي اوفى ، قال:" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن نبيذ الجر الاخضر" . قال: قلت: فالابيض؟ قال: لا ادري.
Shaibani (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I heard Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) saying that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade nabidh (fermented drink) made in green pitchers. I asked him, "What is the ruling regarding white pitchers?" He replied, "I do not know."

Hadith Number: 19104
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا الاعمش ، عن عبيد بن الحسن المزني ، قال: سمعت ابن ابي اوفى ، يقول: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا رفع راسه من الركوع، قال: " سمع الله لمن حمده، اللهم ربنا لك الحمد ملء السماء وملء الارض، وملء ما شئت من شيء بعد" ..
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would raise his head from bowing (ruku), he would say "Sami' Allahu liman hamidah" and then say: "O our Lord Allah! All praise is for You, equal to the fullness of the heavens and the earth, and equal to the fullness of whatever else You will." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.

Hadith Number: 19105
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا مسعر ، حدثنا عبيد بن حسن ، عن ابن ابي اوفى ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يقول ذلك ولم يقل: في الصلاة.
Narrated to us by Waki', narrated to us by Mis'ar, narrated to us by Ubayd ibn Hasan, from Ibn Abi Awfa, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say that, and he did not say: in the prayer.

Hadith Number: 19106
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا الاعمش ، حدثني الشيباني ، قال: سمعت ابن ابي اوفى ، قال:" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن نبيذ الجر الاخضر" . قال: قلت: فالابيض؟ قال: لا ادري.

Hadith Number: 19107
حدثنا وكيع ، ويعلى هو ابن عبيد ، قالا: حدثنا ابن ابي خالد وهو إسماعيل ، قال: سمعت ابن ابي اوفى ، يقول: دعا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على الاحزاب، فقال: " اللهم منزل الكتاب، سريع الحساب، هازم الاحزاب اهزمهم وزلزلهم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Ahzab, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated against the armies of the polytheists, saying: O Allah, the One Who sent down the Book! The Swift in reckoning, the Defeater of the armies, defeat them and shake them.

Hadith Number: 19108
حدثنا وكيع ، عن ابن ابي خالد ، قال: سمعت عبد الله بن ابي اوفى ، يقول:" قدمنا مع نبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فطاف بالبيت، وسعى بين الصفا، والمروة يعني في العمرة ونحن نستره من المشركين ان يؤذوه بشيء" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that we reached Makkah Mukarramah with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), performed the Tawaf of the House of Allah, and did Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and during this time, in order to protect the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the harm of the polytheists, we kept him under our protection.

Hadith Number: 19109
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا ابن ابي خالد ، قال: سمعت ابن ابي اوفى ، يقول: " لو كان بعد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نبي ما مات ابنه إبراهيم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that if a prophet were to come after the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then the son of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Hazrat Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), would never have passed away.

Hadith Number: 19110
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن يزيد ابي خالد الدالاني ، عن إبراهيم السكسكي ، عن ابن ابي اوفى ، قال: جاء رجل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: يا رسول الله، إني لا استطيع اخذ شيئا من القرآن، فعلمني ما يجزئني، قال: " قل: سبحان الله، والحمد لله، ولا إله إلا الله، والله اكبر، ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله"، قال: يا رسول الله، هذا لله عز وجل، فما لي؟ قال:" قل: اللهم اغفر لي، وارحمني، وعافني، واهدني وارزقني"، ثم ادبر وهو ممسك كفيه، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" اما هذا، فقد ملا يديه من الخير" . قال مسعر : فسمعت هذا الحديث من إبراهيم السكسكي ، عن ابن ابي اوفى ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وثبتني فيه غيري.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I cannot memorize even a small portion of the Noble Qur'an, so teach me something that will suffice for me." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Say: Subhan Allah, walhamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah." He said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! This is for Allah, what is there for me?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Say: O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me well-being, guide me, and provide for me." Then that man turned and went away, and he had firmly closed both his hands. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "This person has gone away with his hands filled with goodness."

حكم دارالسلام: حديث حسن بطرقه، وهذا اسناد ضعيف لضعف ابراهيم السكسكي
Hadith Number: 19111
حدثنا وكيع ، عن شعبة ، عن عمرو بن مرة ، قال: سمعت ابن ابي اوفى ، يقول: كان الرجل إذا اتى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بصدقة ماله صلى عليه، فاتيته بصدقة مال ابي، فقال: " اللهم صل على آل ابي اوفى" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that when someone would bring the zakat of his wealth to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would supplicate for him. One day, I also brought the zakat of my father's wealth, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, send blessings upon the family of Abu Awfa."
