تتمہ مُسْنَدِ الْكُوفِيِّينَ
Continuation of Musnad of the Kufans
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
And from the hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 19232
حدثنا ابو سعيد مولى بني هاشم، حدثنا زائدة ، حدثنا زياد بن علاقة ، عن جرير ، قال: قال لي حبر باليمن: " إن كان صاحبكم نبيا فقد مات اليوم" . قال جرير: فمات يوم الاثنين صلى الله عليه وسلم.
It is narrated from Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a prominent Christian priest from Yemen said to me, "If your companion is truly a Prophet, he will pass away today." Accordingly, the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) departed from this world on that very day, which was a Monday.

Hadith Number: 19233
حدثنا ابو سعيد ، حدثنا زائدة ، حدثنا عاصم ، عن شقيق ، عن جرير ، قال: قلت: يا رسول الله، اشترط علي، فانت اعلم بالشرط، قال: " ابايعك على ان تعبد الله لا تشرك به شيئا، وتقيم الصلاة، وتؤتي الزكاة، وتنصح المسلم، وتبرا من المشرك" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that at the time of accepting Islam, I submitted in the presence of the Messenger, "O Messenger of Allah! If there is any condition, please tell me." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Worship Allah and do not associate anyone with Him, perform the obligatory prayers, pay the obligatory zakat, wish well for every Muslim, and express disavowal from the disbeliever."

Hadith Number: 19234
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا ابو عوانة ، حدثنا سليمان الاعمش ، عن إبراهيم ، عن همام بن الحارث ، ان جرير بن عبد الله " بال وتوضا، ومسح على خفيه، فقيل له: فقال: قد رايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يفعله" . قال إبراهيم: كان اعجب ذاك إليهم، لان إسلام جرير كان بعد المائدة.
Hammam says that once Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) urinated, performed ablution, and wiped over his socks. Someone said to him, "How are you wiping over your socks when you have just urinated?" He replied, "Yes! I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) urinate, perform ablution, and wipe over his socks." Ibrahim says that the scholars of hadith give great importance to this hadith because Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam after the revelation of Surah Al-Ma'idah (in which is the verse of ablution).

Hadith Number: 19236
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن سليمان ، عن إبراهيم ، عن همام بن الحارث ، عن جرير بن عبد الله انه بال، قال: ثم توضا، ومسح على خفيه، وصلي، فسئل عن ذلك، فقال: رايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه صنع مثل هذا" . قال: وكان يعجبهم هذا الحديث من اجل ان جريرا كان من اسلم.
Ibrahim says that the hadith scholars attach great importance to this hadith because Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam after the revelation of the verse of wudu in Surah Al-Ma'idah.

Hadith Number: 19237
حدثنا محمد بن ابي عدي ، عن شعبة ، عن سليمان ، عن إبراهيم ، عن همام بن الحارث ، ان جريرا " بال قائما، ثم توضا ومسح على الخفين، وصلى، فسالته عن ذلك، فذكر عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم انه فعل مثل ذلك" .
Hammam says that once Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) urinated, performed ablution, and wiped over his leather socks. Someone said to him, "How are you wiping over your socks when you have just urinated?" He replied, "Yes! I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) urinate, perform ablution, and wipe over his leather socks."

Hadith Number: 19238
حدثنا يحيى بن آدم ، حدثنا ابو الاحوص ، عن الاعمش ، عن ابي وائل ، عن ابي جميلة ، عن جرير بن عبد الله ، قال: اتيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ابايعه، فقلت: هات يدك، واشترط علي، وانت اعلم بالشرط، فقال: " ابايعك على ان لا تشرك بالله شيئا، وتقيم الصلاة، وتؤتي الزكاة، وتنصح المسلم، وتفارق المشرك" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that at the time of accepting Islam, I submitted in the presence of the Messenger, "O Messenger of Allah! Hadith Number: 19239
حدثنا اسود بن عامر ، حدثنا شريك ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن عامر ، عن جرير ، قال: " إذا ابق إلى ارض الشرك يعني العبد فقد حل بنفسه" . وربما رفعه شريك.
It is narrated from Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When someone flees and joins the enemy, his blood becomes lawful.

Hadith Number: 19240
حدثنا ابو احمد هو الزبيري ، قال: حدثنا إسرائيل ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن عامر ، عن جرير ، ولم يرفعه، قال: " إذا ابق العبد إلى ارض العدو، فقد حل دمه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When someone flees and joins the enemy, his blood becomes lawful.

Hadith Number: 19241
حدثنا ابو احمد ، حدثنا إسرائيل ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن ابيه ، عن جرير ، قال: سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " من لا يرحم الناس لا يرحمه الله عز وجل" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah Almighty does not show mercy to him.
