Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), mentioning Dhu’t-Tad, said: He is the devil of Ruhha, who will be a shepherd of horses (the narrator is unsure, perhaps these are the words), he will be grazing animals on the mountains. A man from the Bajilah tribe will pull him up and bring him down; his name will be Ashhab. (The narrator is unsure, perhaps these are the words) He will be Ibn Ashhab; he will be a sign among a dark people. Sufyan says: ‘Ammar Ruhani told me this, he brought with him a man from his tribe whose name was Ashhab. (The narrator is unsure, perhaps these are the words) He was Ibn Ashhab.
