حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا الزهري ، قال: اخبرني ابو بكر بن عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عمر , انه سمع جده عبد الله بن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا اكل احدكم، فلياكل بيمينه، وإذا شرب فليشرب بيمينه، فإن الشيطان ياكل بشماله ويشرب بشماله" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any person eats, he should eat with his right hand, and when he drinks, he should drink with his right hand, for indeed Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand."
